Adding mobile data to what a travel agency already sells
Updated November 2026
Why it works here
It attaches to a booking you have already made
The hard part of selling an extra is getting the attention. You have it already, at the moment someone is thinking about a specific trip on specific dates.
Groups multiply it
A study-abroad cohort, a tour group or a corporate trip is one conversation and many plans. This is where agencies earn most.
It prevents the complaint you get anyway
The traveller who comes home to a roaming bill remembers who booked the trip. Handing them a plan beforehand removes a bad memory attached to your name.
How it works
- A discount code for your travellers and a personal link, added to itineraries and confirmations.
- For groups, talk to us: a bulk arrangement or a gift purchase is usually simpler than sending twenty people to a link.
- Commission is paid monthly on delivered orders, with a statement you can reconcile.
- Not exclusive, no sales target, and nothing to pay up front.
Free to join, no sales target, nothing exclusive.
Who this is not for
Said plainly, so nobody signs up for something we cannot give them.
- Agencies selling mainly domestic travel.
- Anyone who needs a fully white-label product under their own brand. The customer buys from Tonavira; the discount is visibly yours, but the brand is ours.
- Agencies who want to set their own retail price. Commission is on our price.
Questions
Can we buy in bulk for a group?
Yes, and for groups it is usually the better way: one purchase, plans sent to each traveller. Tell us the destination, the dates and how many people and we will quote it.
What commission do you pay?
It depends on volume and is agreed in writing before you start. Ask us and we will tell you the rate for your kind of business rather than quote a headline number that turns out to have conditions.
How soon do travellers get the eSIM?
Immediately, by email. They install it before they fly, while they still have wi-fi.

Hotels, hostels and hosts
A guest who lands without mobile data cannot find you, cannot message you about a late arrival, and starts the stay annoyed. Giving them a discounted travel eSIM before they fly fixes the arrival and pays you a commission on every order. It costs nothing to set up, there is no stock, and nothing has to be handed over at the desk.
Clinics and medical travel
A patient flying in for treatment needs to reach you from the airport, send documents before they arrive and call home afterwards. Mobile data is the one thing that makes all three possible, and it is usually the thing nobody arranged. Offering it before the flight removes a real anxiety and earns the clinic a commission.
Travel creators
Your audience already asks which eSIM you use. The risk in answering is that you recommend something that fails in a country you have never been to, and you hear about it. What you want is a plan you can describe accurately, a code that saves your audience money, and a company that refunds people properly when something goes wrong.
Schools and exchange programmes
A student arriving for a semester needs data on day one (to reach the school, find the accommodation and tell their family they landed) and usually cannot get a local SIM until they have a local address and sometimes a residence document. A travel eSIM covers exactly that gap, and the school earns on each one.
Event and conference organisers
Attendees fly in for a few days and need data the moment they land: to reach the venue, find the hotel and keep up with the schedule. Offering a discounted eSIM in your registration emails solves a problem they all have, and you earn commission on every one they buy.
