Compatibility
Is my phone compatible?
Two things must be true: your phone supports eSIM, and it's carrier-unlocked. It takes 30 seconds to check.
1. Quickest check
Open your phone dialer and type *#06#. If an EID number appears, your phone supports eSIM.
2. Check it's unlocked
iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock should say “No SIM restrictions”.
Android: ask your carrier, or try another carrier's SIM card.
Good to know: many phones sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau have two physical SIM slots instead of eSIM, even when the same model has eSIM elsewhere. The *#06# check above tells you for sure.
