Helping exchange and language students arrive connected

A student arriving for a semester needs data on day one (to reach the school, find the accommodation and tell their family they landed) and usually cannot get a local SIM until they have a local address and sometimes a residence document. A travel eSIM covers exactly that gap, and the school earns on each one.

Why it works here

The first week is the gap

Local SIMs often need an address, sometimes a residence permit, and always a trip to a shop in a language the student does not yet speak. Meanwhile the family at home wants to hear that they arrived.

Parents are the ones deciding

For younger students the person reading the pre-arrival pack is a parent, and the thing they most want is to be able to reach their child on the first day.

It is one line in a document you already send

Every programme sends a pre-arrival pack. This is a line in it, not a new process.

How it works

  • A discount code for your students and a personal link for the pack and the welcome email.
  • For a whole cohort, ask us. Buying the plans and sending them out is usually easier than chasing individuals.
  • Commission paid monthly on delivered orders.
  • We do not ask students for identity documents, which matters for under-18 programmes.

Who this is not for

Said plainly, so nobody signs up for something we cannot give them.

  • Programmes where students stay long enough to get a local SIM immediately and cheaply: say the plan for week one and be honest that a local SIM wins after that.
  • Schools wanting us to handle student records. We do not want them.
  • Anyone expecting a sponsorship fee rather than commission per order.

Questions

Students stay for months. Is an eSIM the right thing?

For the whole stay, usually not: a local SIM is cheaper once they can get one. For the arrival and the first week or two, it is exactly right, and that is how we suggest you present it. We would rather be honest about it than sell a semester-long plan somebody regrets.

Can parents buy it for a student?

Yes. A plan can be bought as a gift and sent to the student's email address.

Does it work in the country our school is in?

We cover 200+ destinations, so almost certainly. Ask us about your country and we will tell you what the plans there actually do, including anything that would disappoint a student.

Other partners like you

Hotels, hostels and hosts

A guest who lands without mobile data cannot find you, cannot message you about a late arrival, and starts the stay annoyed. Giving them a discounted travel eSIM before they fly fixes the arrival and pays you a commission on every order. It costs nothing to set up, there is no stock, and nothing has to be handed over at the desk.

Clinics and medical travel

A patient flying in for treatment needs to reach you from the airport, send documents before they arrive and call home afterwards. Mobile data is the one thing that makes all three possible, and it is usually the thing nobody arranged. Offering it before the flight removes a real anxiety and earns the clinic a commission.

Travel agencies and tour operators

You already sell flights, transfers, insurance and excursions. Mobile data is the one thing every traveller needs, that almost nobody arranges, and that costs them the most when they get it wrong. It adds a margin per booking with no stock, no supplier account and no operational work.

Travel creators

Your audience already asks which eSIM you use. The risk in answering is that you recommend something that fails in a country you have never been to, and you hear about it. What you want is a plan you can describe accurately, a code that saves your audience money, and a company that refunds people properly when something goes wrong.

Event and conference organisers

Attendees fly in for a few days and need data the moment they land: to reach the venue, find the hotel and keep up with the schedule. Offering a discounted eSIM in your registration emails solves a problem they all have, and you earn commission on every one they buy.
